She needed to get out of there now.
Jerking free from Sebastian's hold, she practically launched herself out of the car, sprinting off without a single
glance back.
Watching her scurry away, Sebastian’s smirk deepened.
Elliot followed her with his gaze before commenting, “Miss Stephanie seems to understand things now.”
“Understand what? She's still the sclueless little fool,” Sebastian replied, his tone dripping with fondness.
Elliot glanced at him, debating whether to say, ‘keep teasing her like this, and one day she might actually snap.’
But in the end, he let it go. As long as Sebastian was enjoying himself, who was he to interfere?
“Go after her,” Sebastian instructed. “Make sure the Hart family doesn’t give her trouble.”
“Yes, sir.”

From a distance, Stephanie spotted several bodyguards in suits stationed outside Olivia's hospital room.
Judging from their reactions, these guys weren't sent by Chad.

Yeah, that made sense. The Ashfords wanted nothing to do with Chris and Olivia's mess. Not just his parents-all

But Chris? He just had to keep chasing after Olivia. Of course, that only made things worse.

The elevator beside her dinged open. Elliot stepped out. “Miss Stephanie, let's go.”
“Okay.” Stephanie Giovanni replied.
She walked right past the commotion without sparing Olivia or Catlin a glance.
As far as Stephanie was concerned, the Hart family had nothing to do with her anymore. She had made that
crystal clear when she cut ties.
Catlins face stiffened the moment she saw Stephanie.
Then, without thinking, she let go of Olivia and marched straight toward her.
Catlin stepped right in Stephanie’s path. “I need to talk to you.”
Stephanie arched a brow. “Ma’am, do | know you?”
Catlin stiffened.
‘Ma’am? That was how she was addressingnow?’
